It's been a while, holy crap.

Between class and Warcraft I haven't been able to manage much of anything by way of drawing lately, which sucks big time. I do have a few requests from Greed though, so you'll be sure to see those. Eventually. Or something. Hah.

I'm starting to think Warcraft is contagious or something. I've now managed to get two people to play, and whether or not they succumb to addiction is up to them. >>;

What's also pretty interesting is that I was in Osteology the other day, and there was me and a few girls who were talking about WoW, two of us being more active players and two of us being not so active.

Me and one of my classmates actually ended up in a discussion over the lore and all the little cultures within the game, and we actually began discussing doing an anthropological study of the ingame world.

Which means "research" pans out to be "play Warcraft for hours on end." Which is fiiiine by me, hah.

I'm sure there's been studies on other MMO's, but we haven't found anything for Warcraft, let alone any publications. So we decided to try and start up a Rutgers-based study of Azeroth. Which has me so damn excited, because I've always been interested in the internet subculture. Hell, I did a mini-paper on GAIA for Cultural Anthropology last year, for chrissakes.

Anyway, we'll see how that pans out. But I really, really hope it does, because I could easily see myself getting mad into that kind of research.
